PJammie party

i sat in on brandon's PJammie party at preschool today. the kids had a lot of fun! most kids wore pj's, some did not. brandon wore his sock monkey pjs given to him by auntie cheryl last year for christmas. they are so cute........i want a set for myself!

the kids watched a DVD w/ airpopped popcorn (not the microwaved kind), played games, had face painting and ate lunch. a parent brought in a lunchable for each kid! there was a fruit tray, a veggie tray, yogurt and chips. for dessert, they had a mini cupcake which brandon licked off all the frosting & left the cake part. oh and cookies. i just helped set up the food on the tables and helped the kids get food on their plate, opened lunchable packages and helped stick the straw in their capri sun drinks. the kids all got to take home a big pumpkin!

this is another toy brandon got for his birthday that we just recently opened. it's some power ranger morpher thing. wears it everyday....but he loves it & i like to spy on him when he pretend plays!

no mental notes around here

thank you to everybody who came to brandon's party & for all his presents. here's just a handful of brandon opening his gifts.

amazing what a simple composition book can look like once it is altered. i made the changito monkey one for a good stamping friend i met on SCS for her birthday. i wanted to make sure she received her birthday package before i posted.

this other little notebook was altered also. i find myself constantly writing notes here & there. i cannot remember things for the life of me! be it getting older or living in a house full of boys. i made those "lolli" flowers myself.
cannot leave out cutie bryan. he is starting to talk a lot more & not letting big brother push him around. in fact, bryan is showing signs of being a bully!! yes, this sweet little face backhand hits, steps on books while people are reading them, snatches things from brandon's hands, runs & leaves the scene after doing something he shouldn't have. hmmmm, and we all thought brandon was our 'problem' child. not so much.....looks like bryan is the future bully in school.

today, i took off work to spend it with brandon at his pre-k class. they are having a pjammie party for halloween. they'll be watching a movie & eating healthy snacks all day. i don't think they are allowed to have sugary snacks. most of you know that brandon does not need any sugar to make him hyper and/or active!!! it should be a fun day!

12 cards from a sheet of 12x12

i decided to make a set of cards with 1 sheet of 12x12 paper. what a time saver! i think i will do this from now on. saves me from having to haul out too many supplies! i ended up with 12 cards! hope you like!

fire day at pre-k

brandon's pre-k class recently had a visit from the orange county fire department. i had to work but luckily, eddie was off to take brandon to their presentation on one of the days brandon does not go to pre-k and to take pictures for me! watch out....he now knows what # to call for emergencies!!! 9-1-1
