if you had a choice...

so in my previous post, i was on day 3 of my sore throat. well, i knew it was something more than a sore throat so i made a trip to urgent care saturday morning. turns out i have strep throat. WORSE. FEELING. EVER. well, next to food poisoning! couldn't swallow, eat, sleep. i didn't want to talk to anyone. super painful. luckily, got some medication and feeling A LOT better! if you ever had strep throat or been through food poisoning, not fun. so, food poisoning or strep throat? NEITHER! thank you to everyone who sent get well wishes!

and he's off! this has got to be my current favorite picture of bryan. just look at the joy in his face! love!

there were so many eggs that bryan didn't know what to do after his bucket was filled so we took a timeout to take a picture with the easter bunny.

it was hard to get a picture of brandon--- he kept running back & forth to get "special" eggs.love my boys!the boys made out very well again this year!

good morning & happy easter! sharing some pics of this little project i did (above) and the boys easter pics with the bunny (puppet) at the mall and the egg hunt. it's a gorgeous day here!

all the candy treats on the floor at the egg hunt from saturday. we're lucky enough the park is close enough for us to walk to. parking is always horrendous the day of the easter egg hunt.

brandon waiting patiently. eddie took bryan this year since we were supposed to meet brandon's friend (who didn't find us til the end). brandon's area in the 3-4 yr age group. bryan was in the 1-2 yr old area. eddie said he was still freaked out a little when it was time to hunt for treats....last year, he cried. at least he didn't this year.

let's see........... who is the most competitive person here???? THE PARENTS!!!

brandon was being VERY selective about what he picked up using only the thumb and pointer finger to pick up candy EVEN though i told him to pick up as much as he can & whatever he didn't like, he could exchange it for something he liked with mommy & daddy but nooooooooooo, he was being very selective about what he put in his bucket.

when the boys met up again, the 1st thing they did was to check out each other's buckets!

bryan sharing.so afterwards, nicholas found brandon! they had another playdate this past wednesday. those 2 are so rowdy when they get together! can't wait to see if they'll be in the same kindergarten class....... i will feel sorry for the teacher of that class.
