merry christmas all!

greetings from san francisco! we were lucky that the rain stopped for us to make the drive. i think it rained for 6 days straight! finally go to meet my brand new baby niece, jadeyn!! she's such a cutie! so in love with her!! pictures of her to come. she will be blind by the time i'm done with her from all the pictures i'm taking of her. (paparazzi i am)
this is a card i made for jadeyn. so happy to get to spend her 1st christmas with her! you can also see this card here.have you seen the decorations at nordstrom's? love it! all their trees are decorated with a bird theme. i want to decorate mine one year like that. one day.......
in my area, nordstrom hires a santa to take pics for FREE!!! and this is the same santa from last year. he's a great santa, knew the drill and did exactly what i wanted for the boys' photo op. he totally orchestrated the visit: 1st bryan sat on santa's lap, then he asked brandon to come sit too, then bryan off so brandon can take one alone w/ santa.

he even asked the boys what they wanted.

me with santa. naughty or nice? well, what do you think? LOL!
merry christmas and happy holidays to all! i still have cards to mail out.....they'll get to you eventually---before the new year?

oh joy!

oh, joy....the whole family's sick! not fun. especially for the caretaker! been taking it easy and getting much needed rest. that means i've been going to bed early. feeling a bit better today.
here is a little deer card for christmas. quick & easy. what took the longest was tying that bow!since i've been sick and not going out to get crafty supplies, made this card out of paper i've had for a while. feels good to use up what i have and not buy & hoard paper. card was made from 1 piece of leftover patterned paper. joining the challenge here.
made some more christmas cards to send here. such a great idea and glad i was able to contribute some cards. these ones below were fast & easy. again, i used up some supplies i had. the images are vintage-y winter scenes a crafty friend gave me a while ago. added some sentiments and voila---instant cards.
TFL! be on a lookout for a giveaway soon........as soon as i get my act together!
