tree house

just one of my recycling message cards................... sharing some (actually lots) of photos from one of the past weekends we were here. the tree house was finally opened. the boys LOVED it. climbing, exploring & getting wet. here is this running water creek kids can step into with lots of rocks and such. we didn't know that there was going to be water involved in this TREE HOUSE area. brandon didn't even ask, he sorta just sat & started taking off his shoes & socks. when 1 does that, the other is sure to follow!
brandon ready to take off his shirt too

surf moves from branbranpicking up a rock or two

bryan feeling rocks with his tootsies

in this other area, they had musical instruments. see the background? if you tap each pipe of varying heights with your palm, it makes different sounds. very cool!

daddy trying his hand at a tune. and brandon was whacking those like a pinata!
giant adirondack chairs. brandon is hamming it up in the back

we need one of these in our backyard!

the slant makes it hard for the kids to get off!

view of the beautiful treehouse.
going across the netted bridge

checking out the scene
climbing up to the treehouse

this is the kid's garden area of the tree house. it's an edible garden!
ginormous tea cup planter getting a hug from bryan

brandon trying to lift it up!
a little maze. brandon found his way out. bryan in the background running AND cheating. notice how he just (tramples and) cuts through the trail?
