cherry hello

i went to a 6 hour scrap buffet on sunday. eddie was nice to let me have "me" time. i ended up making all this. the above is my favorite from all i made. it was fun to have the time to myself......can't wait to have the opportunity again. thanks to hubs!

brandon's last day of school

remember this picture? this was brandon back in september 2008. he's come a loooong way since the day of pre-k orientation. i remembered he cried and didn't even want to go in the classroom. that all changed the minute he saw all the friends he could play with.

he had grown taller too. the 1st picture, he was even tip toeing. bryan just HAD to be in the picture too. bryan's SO ready to go to school. he can---he just needs to be potty trained. the stubborness in him is making it harder to train him compared to brandon.

he'll miss all his teachers. i'll miss 1 less child on tuesdays & wednesdays............... *sigh*

apple cards

i am LOVIN' how brandon is writing now! his print is getting better. depends on his mood.

these were cards i had brandon write in for his teachers. (i wrote the 'thanks' one below :-)

i made his 2 teachers each little sit-down-and-relax gift.

movie candy, a DVD, microwave popcorn, and threw in random things like refrigeratable (is that a word?) eye mask and magnetic wipeoff list.

brandon's writing is so cute! he will love looking back at his penmanship one day! will have to post pics of his final days from pre-k soon!

early bird

what do my kiddos think?? the early bird gets the worm?? they've been getting up waaaay too early! and now that brandon has no school, he gets up early. on school days, it was so hard to get him outta bed. go figure! we have had 2 playdates since school got out on the 17th. we don't have much planned or organized. i plan to let the boys make jello tomorrow in the morning so we can have it by lunch time. i don't like cooking myself so the simpler the better :-)

me please

just a picture of me & brandon from may when we went to disneyland--just him & me. he wanted to ride the "giant wheel". i was kinda scared........so was brandon but we held each other's hand!

a card to kick off summer! what's eveybody's plan for the summer? brandon has playdates but not much else. we just went on one today. i got a lil' bit sunburned. more pics of that later and of his last days of pre-k!

had time to do a quick card this morning before the boys woke up. TFL! it's a gloomy day here.....waiting for sunshine.

garden pics

we visited quail botanical gardens one weekend. so beautiful there. had a nice, leisurely walk with the boys. just sharing [a ton of] pics!bryan, with his snack cup in hand, looking for garden lizards.taking a break.brandon trying to get a closer look at the garden lizards.eddie jokingly told brandon that this plant comes alive and grabs you if you've been naughty. everytime we walked by one of these plants there, brandon took a cautious step back!bananas anyone?i believe these were called dinner plate figs.looking at the tall bamboo.can you see the turtle?at the children's garden. fun day! we'll be visiting again soon when the tree house is all finished! thanks for looking!
