 I believe this is my final card for the spring hop. there are so many new stamps I think I need! And there's still so many new coffee stamps I haven't inked up yet! This is a journaling card inked up on top of a kraft card base covered with washi tape.

the smallest things

 back with another card for the coffee lovers spring hop. I love this simple sentiment. and it holds true for doing the smallest thing for someone to make their day better.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. my phone dropped on Monday and shattered the screen pretty bad. it currently has packing tape on it so I don't cut my crafty little fingers. a temporary fix til I figure out what I'm going to do (upgrade or fix the screen). the rest of the week can only get better!

drink coffee

 I can't get enough of this sentiment. my sister saw my other card with the same stamp and she asked me who I was going to give this card to---myself?!!! she won't be getting any card sets from me anytime soon. [just kidding!]

and who has those paper flowers from years ago when they were so popular? I hardly use them but can't bear to toss them. I have a ton! I'm hoping they'll make a comeback in the crafting world!

upcycled coffee card

 can you see what I upcycled onto this card? well, the Sumatra starbucks card is obvious and so is the coffee cup sleeve I die cutted into the coffee cup. the heart strip was cut from the gift card from starbucks. love the bits of gold in it. does anyone else collect those starbucks small lot coffee cards? I love them. pretty colors and designs!

not wasted time

 happy Monday! it's usually not a day someone looks forward to but in my case, it's okay. I have a standing date with a girlfriend to go walking, hiking or running. then afterwards, to reward our hard work, we go have coffee. it's really good for the soul. make a standing date with someone for coffee. things come up so maybe we can't do Mondays but we will definitely get together at some point during the week. we even skip workouts altogether and have a nice breakfast & coffee.

so my card today is to remind yourselves that time wasted (having coffee) is not time wasted at all.

Wooden Coffee Gift Tags

back with a gift idea useful for your crafty friends. I packaged these up for some of my coworkers. what are they you ask? it's a metal dish that catches your dies. I often misplace my small dies and constantly look for them as I'm using them. when die cutting, you can just place your dies in the dish without worry of losing pieces. I tied it off with some wooden tags after stamping and coloring some coffee themed stamps.

today's card features a holiday bingo journaling card. I always save my coffee cup sleeves after I'm done with my beverage. I love to run it through my die cut machine and cut shapes like this coffee mug. I think the writing on the sleeve, when cut out, adds interest! does anyone else upcycle their coffee cup cardboard sleeves?

international tea day

today is international tea day. when the weather gets cooler, I switch from coffee beverages to tea. I do love my tea especially when it's at just the right temperature to drink!

what is your favorite tea and brands of tea? I love Harney & Sons pomegranate oolong or pumpkin spice. trader joe's early grey is a favorite of mine too!

I'm sorry for the awful photo of the card. this time of year is so busy.....school performance, homework, holiday stuff. I couldn't take a pic during the day but I promise you, the colors on the card are more vibrant!

it's been oolong

it's really been oolong! the only time I dust off the blog is for either the coffee lovers blog hop or for special lawn fawn posts. life is busy around here and I am sure it is for you!

sharing a card for my love of tea when the seasons change. a friend gifted me with a tin of harney & sons pomegranate oolong years ago and I love it! I order it every year in a bag of 50 sachets. their teas are also available at stores like target and barnes and noble in other flavors. this cute stamp set is from sweet stamp shop called 'oolong'.

I'm back today with my 3rd project for the coffee lovers fall blog hop. for this card, I used some old PP I had by pebbles that looked fall-ish, die cut it with lawn fawn's scalloped rectangle stackables , added the scripty hello. the teacup die from serendipity stamps.

fall pillow box gift

hi! back with a fast and easy project to give to a friend to kick off fall! I used lawn fawn's pillow box die, and love you a latte stamp set in their new doe ink. tied on a starbucks fall leaf gift card on the outside with candy corn lawn trimming. I tucked in a pair of pumpkin spice tea bags inside.

do you ever go to starbucks and see those pretty cards that describe their small lot coffee? I always snag a few to make a card or two out of them. this one has a watercolor look to it. I die cutted a starbucks coffee sleeve with lawn fawn hearts die and simon says stamp's coffee cup die.
