merry day after christmas!

this was our simple christmas card this year. i've been practicing in PSE. still learning....next year's will be better!! hope everyone is enjoying spending their holidays with family & friends and perhaps playing with a few new toys! the boys still have gifts to open----we are very lucky to have such generous family & friends in times like today! they are spoiled and i think a little overwhelmed by the amout of packages they received. but baby bryan will be ready to open presents for his 2nd birthday come end of january! he finally got the whole ripping open gift wrap paper!

late thanks(giving)

here's a late post from thanksgiving. me & brandon made some crafts. (yes, they are turkeys)

we went to auntie elaine's & uncle kenny's for thanksgiving dinner. everybody was playing guitar hero including bryan. he was happy with banging on a box with a pair of drumsticks. he got hold of the microphone. playing with the dog.brandon playing with a shooter toy. notice we asked him to aim in a dixie cup!only auntie & uncle would let the boys sprawl out on their kitchen island!

eddie's best friend, rob, from back home came during thanksgiving weekend. this is lauria, his daughter. needless to say, brandon & her hit it off!

she also gave attention to bryan! all the kids: bryan, jenn, lauria, chris & brandon.

wow, lots going on here in my life. i found out last saturday that the store i work at will be closing its doors FOREVER. sucks big time! not sure how the big money-hungry-we-don't-care-about-our-employees company that bought us out will treat us. i'll be damned if i have to be a SAHM. j/k i LOVE my boys and i give great credit to moms who stay at home with their kids. under paid for sure (SAHM) it may be a good change............... we'll see.

preschool pumpkin pie party

on wednesday, brandon's preschool class had a pumpkin pie party for all the parents. the class made the pies the day before. i was kind of scared to eat it but it looked alright & tasted ok. i am not a fan of pumpkin pie but i wanted to try it.

sad---- so of his classmates did not have a parent come to the party. one boy sitting next to brandon kept asking the teacher 'where is my mommy'. **sniff sniff**. brandon might've been one of those kids asking that very same question if i wasn't lucky enough to have gotten an extended lunch ok'd by my boss (thanks jessica :-).

of course my son was too busy playing to tell the teacher what he was thankful for so he isn't on this list but some of what the kids said is funny.

karaoke time! those of you who have met brandon know that he is NOT shy at all.
