making lemonade outta lemons

WHY such the sour face you ask? me & bryan drop off brandon at school on tuesdays & wednesdays and every time we leave, bryan cried his eyes out. he wants to stay and play. he'll cry the entire trip home asking for his brother and calling out his name. he'll even go as far as getting his arms out of his car seat straps to turn his body around to look behind him to point to his brother's school.

i had a couple of errands to do.......1st stop, post office to mail out some packages. he was still crying when we went inside. a nice woman held the door open for us and let us go before her. the mail lady at the counter was very nice.... bryan stopped crying (thank god!). the other counter lady said that bryan was so cute with his watery red eyes & pout (not so much to me). i guess they felt for me.

next stop was michael's to pick up some stuff (don't tell hubby i went). he totally was okay now. he helped carry the hand basket & showed me this & that. at the register, he handed each item to the cashier and then ran to behind her counter & wanted to help.

next stop, HOME! but i did see the beautiful mountains covered with snow after 3 days of rain. ok, it may not seem beautiful to some of you where it snows a lot during the winter but to me, i think it's pretty (from afar!).

i decided to go to the farmers market they have by our house every tuesday before heading home. got zucchini, and a yummy smelling pomelo. we also stopped by the nearby library gounds where they have lemon trees. bryan picked up 1 or 2 off the floor. we took them home---is that stealing??? they already fell off the tree.

made this project this week. cannot believe bryan used to be that tiny and brandon.....he's grown up a lot since then too! oh, my babies are growing up! (i sure got a lot of your attention with the title didn't i??

SATURDAY:

got up early to finish a scrapbook layout

got a late start on the day

dropped of red envelopes for chinese new year for niece & nephew

went to the grove. enjoyed out door music, the boys danced. went to babygap and found some good deals for my friend who's having a boy soon (her 2nd). found 2 bras for myself at gapbody. my deal of the day! those were normally $39.50 i got for less than $10 each! yay for the deal since it's a dreaded thing have to buy!

SUNDAY:

went dim sum---- always yummy and the kids pretty much stay in their seats watching all the carts being pushed around. the food is right there so no waiting on that either! brandon also saw one of his school mates, nicholas, there w/ his family. we chatted for a bit and the boys played like they do in school! so cute!returned some stuff---- got duplicate christmas gifts and yes, finally getting to them now

went to target----got to shop BY MYSELF!! found some goodies but my deal of the day were 2 bras each for $2.74! can't beat their clearance! love it!

went to the park

got boba

went to this cafe 85 degrees and had a slew of freshly baked pastries!

went to take bryan for his 2 year old picture at picture people. got the free 8x10 but also was a sucker into buying a sheet for an astounding $18!!! i think it's so so over priced but........had to have it

had chipotle for dinner-----yummy!

candy thief

i ran upstairs to grab something before me & the boys left the house on friday to go do errands when i heard brandon yell out loud from the downstairs playroom, "mom, come quick!"
me: "what do you want brandon? what's wrong?"
brandon: "bryan's eating chocolates!"
me: wondering what chocolates? the only ones we have are the ones on the kitchen counter which is high up."chocolates?? what??" and i started running downstairs. this is what i saw.....

yep, bryan sure was eating a piece of chocolate! he opened a box we got from christmas that was still in it's see's candy red wrap. bryan found it in the playroom where we left it w/ some other gifts not put away yet. if you look closely, you can see a half eaten piece of chocolate. when i looked at bryan and before i could yell at him, he smiles & rubs his tummy and says, "mmmmmmm...". i immediately proceeded to put all the chocolates back in its paper cups. brandon then asked me, "mommy, can i have a piece now?" i said, "sure" and i popped a piece in for myself too!
