sf trip---part 2

more pics from our sf trip! here's a picture of the kids at the playground. met our friend, kevin and his 2 adorable twins, kobe & nirobi (not sure of the spelling) at the playground in GGP. BTW, we don't know that older girl in the hip glasses in the picture BUT she was an angel. she played with all the little ones here and watched them. she entertained the kids so we adults could talk. yes, we let a random stranger play with our children. i have a picture of all of us, including kevin, and excluding nice stranger girl but it was "lost" somehow in downloading. been having lots of problems lately with downloading pics & losing the last half. luckily this time, i have the pics still on the memory card.

and this is my teacher from 4th grade, mrs. fujiwara. it was great to see her again!

i got to see my friend andy too. i haven't seen him in years but i've know this guy since the 6th grade! brandon played ultraman with him at lunch. ok ak, he is waiting for you to return to japan to give you his ultraman shopping list!!!

i also got to see my best friends michele and cheryl. wish we had more time to hang out! next trip..........................!!

a few weeks ago, my friend amy forwarded me a DT call that was right up my alley. and i made it! see the announcement here .

it's all about reusing, repurposing and recycling. they will be carrying products with the green intitiative. not eveything they carry is going to be 100% recycled they do plan to show you companies that are unique, and have made a promise to do what they can to be green. check it out!

sf trip-- part 1

earlier in july, we went home to SF for a week. my sister took us to the discovery museum.

i love this place---it's so hands-on. the boys were not interested in this area below but i was. but i couldn't stop to play.....time to move on.

bryan did want to paint though.......but he stpped cause his hands were getting all goopythey had some chinese thing going on in one area and i thought this was too funny. these are plastic bok choy, chinese sausage, and chicken. couldn't figure out what the other 2 things are

ABC tag book

made an ABC tag book. bryan (my youngest son) will destroy this in a minute............luckily, he knows all his ABC's already! better suited for a girly girl.

if boys could behave any worse.....

if my boys could have behaved any worse when meeting kiara & her family, they sure did!

i had the opprtunity to meet the very talented kiara last sunday. see her work & blog here . lots of eye candy to look at and all her work is so professionally finished! we met her in san diego for lunch at mr. dumpling. and the boys were so---- let me see, how should i say??? they were acting like boys!!! her 2 girls were darling as heck and so well behaved. my boys got up, out of their seats and tried to check out the 2 cuties! notice i have no pictures from lunch!our meeting was extended with a trip to the coronado. so beautiful....just look at the background. gorgeous HOT day too! below is kiara & her beautiful family.

we took a break from biking to play 'tag'. kiara was playing. i just stood in the shade from far away taking pictures (too hot). most of these pics have been cropped to show the close ups---that's how far i was!
