the say cheese polaroid frame blown up 1000x! fun photo prop!
i'll have more pictures of CHA soon. it was brandon sick, then bryan, then hubby & i got it last. just getting over my cold now. bryan's birthday was on sunday 1/29 and i was at CHA that day (i felt sooooo bad) & also on the 30th & 31st. so when we finally were all better, we got bryan a cake (from yummy porto's) and celebrated. it's not a birthday unless you have cake!

CHA part II
i love watching my boys sleep---especially bryan. they're so peaceful and QUIET! he crawled into my bed one night and asked to snuggle with me. it ended up him being sick & throwing up the next morning. he got whatever brandon had the week before.
ok, on to some more CHA pictures. this is such a pretty work of art!

hero arts class at CHA
here i am with some of my stamp fever family at the hero arts booth at CHA. left-right: karen, jennifer, me, shari, sally, nancy, linda and gina (front).
i took all these pictures with my iPhone. i'm not sure why this pic is upside down. you get the idea.....
look at those pretty color inks! bubble gum, cup o' joe, and butter bar. love the ink names!
todd, shari, sally & jennifer getting ready to start our class.
the 1st class had 5 cards that we completed in 2 hrs. very fast paced but i was happy i was keeping up & completed all my cards.

this card below used a heart shaped stamp to make a butterfly.
look at those pretty color inks! bubble gum, cup o' joe, and butter bar. love the ink names!
can anyone guess what tool i used to apply color to this card?? and who's idea it was??
only shari! she told us use a different finger for each color of distress inks. she's so much fun!
i learned so many new techniques & tricks in the classes.
this one is probably my favorite just because the colors are so fun!

i'll be back another day with more pictures from CHA. i had a great time! i helped at the lawn fawn booth and looked at new product lines from companies to see what we should carry at stamp fever.
one last photo of sally, me & jennifer! it was a real great class! thank you hero arts! :)

hugs
hello! i'm back with 2 cards to share today. got some new stamps recently and had some time to play.
the card below was made from rolled text paper from a vintage dictionary.

does anybody ever spend hours looking for that one thing?? i spent 30 minutes last night looking for my gingher pinking shears. i walked away from searching because i was getting frustrated. then i couldn't help myself but to go look again for 20 minutes. sometimes i think that it's right under my nose and i'm looking too hard so i stop looking....go back and look and get frustrated again. here is the moral of this story: put things back where they belong right after you use them!! BTW, i still haven't found them. i need them desperately to finish a project i promised a friend. i might just have to go out & get another pair. [i'll be looking a.g.a.i.n. tomorrow]
thanks for stopping by!

pool one day...to the snow the next
last friday after school, i took the boys to the pool to play with their friends. yes, the pool in the winter... in the middle of january! it was probably in the high 70's or low 80's.
brybry is like me when i was little. i tagged along ALL THE TIME when my older sister hung out with her friends! [hi sis :) love ya]
so that was friday. saturday, we decided to take a drive to big bear. although it wasn't snowing, it was fun for all of us. the boys don't get to see snow all but 1x a year! and does this even count? it was man-made snow blown out from a snow machine! LOL
this place was better than the place we went to last year. no scary chairlift!! plus i didn't have to hear whiney boys tell me they're tired from walking up snow hills! let me introduce---the "magic carpet". it's a moving escalator that takes to to the top of the hill! genius, right?
ok ok....brandon doesn't look that happy but daddy is!
bryan was happy. he's holding snow :)
ooops--picture is upside down! who has an iPhone 4s?? when my pictures from my phone are uploaded via iCloud, i cannot edit/rotate my photos. apparently, it's not compatible with windows. grrrrr. i managed to fandangle pictures from my phone by emailing them to myself and then editing them from there. does anyone have any other tips for me for editing iPhone 4 pics?
snowball fight!!
let me tell you having a good, inflated tube with no holes or rips makes for a smoother & faster ride down the hill! see how the blue one is 'puffier' than the yellow?

happy new year!
happy new year! finally feeling better (from last year ;) and have time to post 2 cards. this is a new set from lawn fawn called love 'n breakfast. super cute!
another card i made for aunties who sent us a big box of pears for christmas. they were juicy & delicious! just had to make a pear-specific card using cosmo cricket, lawn fawn & hero arts.

sorry for this not so good picture below. hubby asked me last minute to package this gift up and i made a quick card to go along with this movie-themed gift.
this little cake here, we bought for the guys at our favorite sushi place to wish them a merry christmas. we go there every week on wednesdays. the boys both grew up eating there in their carseats! LOL! they treat us real well there and knows all our drinks and our favorite foods there. i think both brandon & bryan have a job there when they can legally work!
since we are talking about sweet treats, here are pictures from last month when we went to extrodinary desserts.
