ABC tag book

made an ABC tag book. bryan (my youngest son) will destroy this in a minute............luckily, he knows all his ABC's already! better suited for a girly girl.

if boys could behave any worse.....

if my boys could have behaved any worse when meeting kiara & her family, they sure did!

i had the opprtunity to meet the very talented kiara last sunday. see her work & blog here . lots of eye candy to look at and all her work is so professionally finished! we met her in san diego for lunch at mr. dumpling. and the boys were so---- let me see, how should i say??? they were acting like boys!!! her 2 girls were darling as heck and so well behaved. my boys got up, out of their seats and tried to check out the 2 cuties! notice i have no pictures from lunch!our meeting was extended with a trip to the coronado. so beautiful....just look at the background. gorgeous HOT day too! below is kiara & her beautiful family.

we took a break from biking to play 'tag'. kiara was playing. i just stood in the shade from far away taking pictures (too hot). most of these pics have been cropped to show the close ups---that's how far i was!

the boys had fun! thank you to kiara & her family for treating us to a nice lunch and a great time on our bike ride. it was fantastic meeting her.

just one of my recycling message cards................... sharing some (actually lots) of photos from one of the past weekends we were here. the tree house was finally opened. the boys LOVED it. climbing, exploring & getting wet. here is this running water creek kids can step into with lots of rocks and such. we didn't know that there was going to be water involved in this TREE HOUSE area. brandon didn't even ask, he sorta just sat & started taking off his shoes & socks. when 1 does that, the other is sure to follow!

in this other area, they had musical instruments. see the background? if you tap each pipe of varying heights with your palm, it makes different sounds. very cool!

i usually make these and give them as gifts with handmade cards in it but i'm thinking of keeping this one.

so this is what bryan does.........torture his little toy friends! i walked into the play room to find this.
this was another day. these poor guys were in the oven!! i asked him why he put them in the oven and he just shrugged it off. funny boy!

we're all about the dessert

beacuse we are such a big dessert family, i made a layout of brandon eating one of his 3 cups of italian ice at peyton's party. we LOVE this place in san diego called extrodinary desserts. we go there whenever we can after a trip to the san diego zoo or the wild animal park. look at how beautiful this is.....

we also love our melting hot chocolate souffle at roy's. it's a flourless chocolate cake with a molten hot center served a la mode. yummylicious! once you walk into the restaurant, all you smell is that chocolate baking!!!

another dessert at roy's we got (for free) because we were celebrating our anniversary last year there.

just some 'stuff' i made that i didn't get a chance to post. it's hard keeping up with my overly-active boys. like my owl prop there? it's actually a vintage owl bank.
