side note.........when i was little, maybe 5 or 6 years old, i remember getting busted big time from my dad for ordering some disney books from a book club. i had just learned that cards that were in magazines have postage free cards to send in for stuff. the one i chose was a disney book club. i was found out when the 1st book came in the mail WITH a bill. my parents were pretty mad!! long story short, this is when i 1st fell in love with these type of illustrations. (BTW, this offer came with free book ends)

LOL Ivy! Love what you did here.
Awe cute, I never thought to use book illustrations on a card.
I can just imagine your parents surprise.... yes it is hard to cut them up but didn't this turn out awesome.
What?!!! I can't believe they were mad....they should of been so proud that you managed to pick out and order books all by yourself...LOL. What an adorable project ivy...LOVE the colors and who can resist bambi?
BTW-spent toooo much $$ at Big Lots...oy vey.
Deja vu, Ivy! My sister and I ordered some Disney books and they were "free" but the catch was a new book would be sent every month! Talk about a mad Dad....
Love how you altered this, btw!
It would be hard for me to cut them up too. The colors are marvelous.
Such a sweet story Ivy! Remembering the good ol' days and the simplicity of our younger years, I love it!!
