allergy scare to we don't know what

after dinner sunday, i cut up some apples, pears and grapes for the boys. nothing out of the ordinary. i noticed brybry's one eye was a little swollen a bit later, so i asked him what happened. he told me brandon knocked him in the eye when he was looking through his play binoculars. later as we were getting ready for story time, i looked at bryan's face and both his eyes were super swollen!! we immediately administered benadryl. how scary for us! we still don't know what it could have been. nothing at dinner that was out of the ordinary. can you be allergic to fruit? he's had grapes before. and apples. and pears. maybe not all 3 at the same time. poor little guy.....his eyes were so swollen that we could barely see his eyes!
here's an old picture of bryan. he's eating blueberries and no, he's not allergic to those. i'm really lucky both my boys love fruit!

a few cards i made over this past weekend for WCMD. getting ready for halloween! the boys are all set with their costumes! any guesses as to what the boys will be? they are super excited!

TFL! have a great week!

awww... poor Bryan.. hope the swollen eye goes away soon. i looked at wikipedia and found that fruit allergy is possible but the reactions are usually occur around the mouth. here is a link. so it must be something else? hope you can find out what caused the swollen. again, love your cards!! those halloween cards are so fun and fab!! LOVE THEM!! =)

That is scary to have an allergic reation while having fruit! Poor Bryan! Here in Canada, you can get tested for exactly what kind of allergies (dust, seafood, grass, peanut butter...or fruit) you have. So you may look into that? LOVE all of your Halloween cards. I think they are your specialty since you are so great with these color combo and those monster cards are too cute!

How scary for all of you! Could be something he touched with his hands and then rubbed his eyes. Hope you figure it out soon. I'm going to guess your boys will be robots!

Wow, so scary, maybe it wasn't the fruit but he touched or scraped on an object or plant outside, then rubbed it into his eyes....kids always touch the darndest thing and rub their eyes without our knowledge?! Just a thought. Great cards, so festive! I'm thinking weren't they power rangers last year? Hmm...maybe iron man this year and Thor? LOL...I love Thor!

Just catching up with blogs and read this....how scary! Was it something on the binoculars? Poor BryBry!! Love your Halloween cards! You always make them spooky cute!

I'm guessing they'll be Ultra Men? Bakugen? Whatever they are, they'll be cute! Take care!!
