card sets

hello--again! told you i post sporatically! this is my 2nd post of the day so don't forget to check the post below!

i always admire my bloggie friend, anita's card sets that she makes and always looking for new ideas for teacher gifts and such. we decided that once a month (around the middle of the month), we'd challenge ourselves to make some sets and post. then we'd have enough to give as presents to the teachers when the time came & we wouldn't have to crank them out last minute.here is a set all packaged, ready for gift giving. very clean and simple. a set of 6 cards for everyday use.i have to admit that i made these back in december but i never posted the individual cards. i have a set done but haven't taken pics of them.

thanks for looking! please feel free to join in with us monthly, link up your set (or previous sets) to share in the comments section. please stop by anita's blog to check her's out! you won't be disappointed!
BTW, can you LMK what is your favorite kraft colored cardstock? i used recollections here but not completely happy with it. i'd love to hear what peep's favorites are. and if you wouldn't mind, i'd love to get a swatch before buying so anyone out there want to send me a swatch in exchange for something?? (thanks)

Hi Ivy! Love this set it's perfect! So fun! So happy your doing this too! I also use Recollections kraft, I don't love it either but it's easy to find, cheap and always there. I used to use Bazill and liked it but it was bit light I wouldn't mind a darker kraft, but not too dark either! :>

Teachers will love to receive these sets! I use the recollections too for the same reasons that Anita gave. Not the best. Let me know if you find something better. Love these!-L. Berry

Hi Ivy! Love your card set! Got to your site via Anita. I use Papertrey Ink Kraft cardstock and I love it because it is really good heavyweight quality. I would be more than happy to send you a swatch if you want (no need to send anything in return). You can get my e-mail through Blogger or via Flick-r mail. Brenda xxx
