sew lovely card set
teaming up cosmo cricket papers and lawn fawn stamps to make a 4x4 mini card set. i've been behind in teaming up with anita to make card sets each month so we wouldn't have to cram making multiple cards sets for teacher gifts all at once! joining the challenge here!
bagged in a glassine bag and tied with a fabric strip. the fabric can be used to fashion a twistie flower like in one of my mini cards. ready for gift giving!
just a very random question.........who likes chewy cookies and who likes crispy ones? my hubby likes his chocolate chip cookies crispy. me, i'm a chewy kinda gal. i can't remember but any foodies out there, please let me know....if i want chewy cookies, i add more or less of an ingredient, right? i read it some where a looong time ago but cannot remember. who am i kidding---it's not like i'm going to bake cookies from scratch. i just buy the big tub from costco and scoop & drop onto a cookie sheet. so, really, my question is how do i bake pre-made cookie dough to get them soft & chewy?

Love this fun set! Great gift.
CUTE card set, Ivy! If I remember correctly, you add a little more flour to make cookies chewier.......
Cute set, Ivy! I love that CC collection. And I can't help you with the baking question. I'm all about the eating and need recipes to help me cook/bake.
Love the cards. I like my cookies chewy too, it depends on the brand you buy, I get the tollhouse and take them out a minute or 2 before it says to and they are chewy.
Hey Ivy...love your cards! Teachers must love you, such perfect little gifts you make!
I'm a chewy cookie fan and we like the Costco tub too. My tip for soft and chewy cookies from the tub...don't over bake them. I always take them out as soon as the top is set and let them sit on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before moving them to the rack to cool. Works every time.
Looking forward to our fun day of stamping on Sunday...see you then!
Really love this fun set and all the elements. I love soft and chewy. A little bit warm with the chocolate melting and gushing out too! Heaven!!!-Leesa B
LOVE the card set...I tell ya, I'm diggin' those blooms!!!!!
Um, I'm like you...tub o dough...well, actually I don't even do that:) I like them both ways...crunchie and chewy:)
Cute cards sis. I like my cookies chewy as well. Take them out a couple minutes early or at the lesser time range the cooking time calls for...you may have to experiment as oven temperatures vary.
Fun set and love the face on the machine!
Love these so much, Ivy! Just love!
And cookies? I like 'em any way, but how about crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle? :) Don't ask me about the pre-made dough, though, sorry!
HUGS!!! :)
ivy! This set is awesome!!! how cute are those stamps ;)
Great idea with the glassine & fabric ribbon ;)
About the cookies....I really like it more chewy for choc chip
I even warm the chip ahoy ones in the microwave ;) heehee
I actually don't even remember the last time I made choc chip cookies!
Oh my goodness, wonderful job on this mini card set, I love them! 4 x 4's are the best, I've even gone as small as 3 x 3 but that was challenging! Hope you got some good answers on your cookie question!
Hey Ivy! Thanks for linking these up to the Card Set Challenge in the Moxie Fab World in celebration of 350 Cards & Gifts Week! Good luck in the random drawing! :)
Love these cards and I have all that Cosmo Cricket and Lawn Fawn stuff so i may have to come back for inspiration! Nice!!
FABULOUS card set! I love the patterns and theme you have here! AND about the cookies... (My eyes all lit up), I am with Nancy...just don't over bake the dough (packaged or home made). My family (especially DH) loves soft and chewy kind. So I reduced the flour a bit and keep the same amount of sugar and then underbake a bit. For the crispier kind, just bake them a little longer (let cool in pan). I think that way you and hubby will be happy :)
love your cards. I love to scrapbook but have not done it for a while. You have inspired me.
Hi Ivy! I so love this set! Such a great one, love the papers!!! As for the cookies I think you just bake it a bit shorter and make sure to keep it in a airtight container and it will stay soft. I also take it off the pan about a minute later. I prefer soft and chewy! It can be frustrating when hubby doesn't like the same thing as you, I love cinnamon and he doesn't! And I encourage you to try baking from scratch for me to mix it put it on the cookies sheets is 20 minutes with no kids, with maybe over half an hour!
such a pretty set, Ivy! love the packaging, too! fabulous work, Ivy! mmm.... i'll have to try the Costco tub some time, too!!! i prefer them chewy and thanks for asking it. i have been reading the answers from your wise readers! =)
