we had nice weather this past week and i mean NICE! took brybry to the kiddie pool tuesday to enjoy the 80*+ weather!these next 2 pictures were taken in the kiddie pool. looks like he's on the beach, doesn't it?

look at my little hugh hefner! i cannot believe how fast he's growing and the stuff he's learning and doing! he will be 4 in seven days!!! i'm not ready for him to turn 4!! can anyone out there stop time for just a bit longer?!

card sets

hello--again! told you i post sporatically! this is my 2nd post of the day so don't forget to check the post below!

i always admire my bloggie friend, anita's card sets that she makes and always looking for new ideas for teacher gifts and such. we decided that once a month (around the middle of the month), we'd challenge ourselves to make some sets and post. then we'd have enough to give as presents to the teachers when the time came & we wouldn't have to crank them out last minute.here is a set all packaged, ready for gift giving. very clean and simple. a set of 6 cards for everyday use.i have to admit that i made these back in december but i never posted the individual cards. i have a set done but haven't taken pics of them.

swinging good time

good morning! we've had beautiful weather the past couple days. this morning, brandon is back to school and me & brybry are back to our regular schedule. this morning, we went to the playground with a friend. any guesses to where we went this past weekend? more pics to come later :)some more altered pocket calenders i'm making for friends, coworkers AND sister. hey sis, you want either of these?

sweet tooth

for the past 3 weeks, i've been having such the sweet tooth. it doesn't help either that a mom friend wants to go to sprinkles every wednesday after dropping off our kiddos at school! who can refuse a get-together at sprinkles anyways?! nothing wrong with a cupcake for breakfast! [at least that's what i tell brybry who comes a along for the treat!]

i had a busy tuesday......volunteering in the AM in brandon's class. then me & brybry had a playdate at the park, after that, i had to go pick up a stamp order, came home to work on some projects, picked up brandon from school, did homework and made dinner. phew! i didn't even get a chance to nap!

i made this one layer card.......no fussing around with cutting like i usually do!we decided to go on an adventure hike this past saturday. a 3.2km hike to be exact!

sorry this picture is sideways. i brought crayons, pencils and a mini clipboard for each of the boys with the intention of them sitting down during the hike to draw stuff they saw/found. instead, i found these informational posts along the trail. i put a piece of paper over the signs and rubbed a crayon over them. they turned out great and a great keepsake from our outing.

surprise, it's me again. i know....what kind of blog schedule am i on? never the same day, not everyday, nor the same amount of days week after week. i just blog when i have time.
went through some old pictures from my iPhone. can this little boy help you find some nails? perhaps the right shade of eggshell paint? LOL

the mall had a series of clinics for kid safety last fall and sponsored by kiddie programs. this one was for some music & play one. this little girl was standing next to brybry and when the music was on, she immediately grabbed his hand. you should have seen bryan's face. he looked at me right away as if he was asking me,'what is this girl doing?' but he let her keep on holding his hand to dance. so cute!little girl stealing my boy!

Brrrrrrr---Got Gloves?

isn't this beautiful! snow!we took the boys to the snow to go tubing. it was mighty cold!!! 26*here's bryan and eddie on the lift going up.here's brandon. let me explain the bad pictures....i was not thrilled about having to ride the lift up to get to the top. i could tell brandon was scared. i couldn't show him that mommy was scared too! so i did what i could in my frozen hands to take his picture.

the ride took for---evah! seemed like an hour as the chair lift kept climbing up and up and up. but it really more like 10-15 minutes. it was breezy too so that didn't help my fears! it was so quiet that we heard the wind howling!

and look at brandon---he lost another tooth! BTW, does anyone want to help contribute to the "brandon will need braces fund'?

and this is what we did.they're so cute in their puffy jackets! good thing we bought these before christmas for all the rain we've been having. they were still super cold! our huge mistake? not bringing gloves! didn't think to bring them---[as homer simpson would say...DOH!]

i wish we weren't such wimps and took the time to take more pictures. i was thinking this picture would be for our christmas card in december BUT, 50% of the family blinked. you win some, you lose some!

after this picture, it was back in line to catch the ski lift back down. joy......at the end of theday, the boys were so cranky, cold and tired that they didn't want to walk back to the car. so we sat and waited for daddy to drive the car to us. i was holding bryan in my lap taking his picture. look at that frown!

and brandon just closed his eyes and fell asleep for a few minutes.

i had major trouble falling asleep that night. kept on dreaming about the ski lift ride. i cannot do that again. give me a tropical island anyday!! TFL!
