we've been exploring our area more this summer. just seeing what the community has to offer. and surprisingly, there are tons of things to do with the kids. many of them FREE! we happen to find out last sunday that it was the sunday of the month that gave free rides on these mini trains. of course the boys loved it! brandon was a HUGE thomas the train fan by the time he was 1 1/2 yrs old. he could identify all the trains even though they all looked the same to me.
we told brybry that there were little people passengers in the front.
we look a little ridiculous right? the weather was nice---sunny, not too hot with a nice cool breeze.better than the temps we've had days before where it was in the high 90's.
silly boys! we rode the train 2x! fun day! after that, we went to the local library. they had free craft day. the boys made a caterpillar and a butterfly.

Keep these photos coming, Ivy! I certainly enjoy them. Your boys are just the cutest and I myself love those miniature trains, and trains in general. They just represent adventure to me. I love your tea cup card too. So cute!
I think my two boys had every single, little metal, Thomas the Tank Engine toy made! Such good memories! Love these pics, Ivy and I'm so glad you keep sharing them! Your teacup card is darling! Sure made me smile!
So cute! Love the card! Where is that train ride, looks like a lot of fun! You know C loves trains and he would just go crazy if he saw a REAL Thomas and Friends train...I know they have one, but don't think it's in Calif.
Love your tea card, Ivy- simple yet so sweet!! I remember those days...little train rides(we took one in Michigan!) and free craft days at the library. Now my David is learning how to drive! I still have TONS of Thomas the Train set in my basement!! I mean, TONS, the table map, bridges, stations, tunnels...ENJOY, Ivy, these days do not last forever :) Sorry to say that, but it's so true :)
