here is a recycled altoid tin i covered and made into this:
cute, no? i really do love this stamp set. inside, i filled with 2 instant coffee packets, rich hand cream, and lip balm. and yes, the lip balm is named 'chicken poop'! see the end of this post for blog candy giveaway.
i WAS going to give this to a coworker who just had a birthday but after i finished it, it was too cute to give up! [shhhhhh, she won't know!]
speaking of delicious, we love going here after our trips to the wild animal park or the san diego zoo. such a treat! the boys will have a fresh cup of homemade sorbet or ice cream.
not only are their desserts decorated beautifully but so is the front of the shop. such inspiration!
almost looks too good to eat!
we always get some to go too in addition to the ones we ate there already!!
so how about a giveaway? i so happen to have an extra tube of chicken poop lip balm! wanna try it? some of you may [or not] know that i am very OCD about lip balm. i must have it on all the time. there is one in every single room of the house. 1 if not 2 in my purse. and i'm always game on trying new lip balm flavors. you'd think i was crazy if you saw a picture of my lip balm "collection"!!

I've tried Burt's Bees and Neutrogena lip balms but never heard of Chicken Poop! The name alone makes me curious!
That tin is adorable! I'm a lip-balm-aholic too! My absolute fave is Burt's Bees. I love that it is not sticky or waxy, but just right and minty. But I'd love to slap some chicken poop on my lips!
Those desserts look amazing! How do you choose! My all time favorite desert is Blue Bell ice cream. I don't know if you have it in CA, I think it's a southern thing. But, it's so smooth and creamy. And my favorite flavor is Mocha Almond Fudge =)

I have been battling contact dermatitis on my face for the past year and have tried umpteen brands of lip balm. You've got me curious about Chicken Poop now.
I love your little tin...you are right, it's definitely a keeper, way too "Ivy-cute" to give away! Love that photo of your boys, you do know how adorable they are right? And thanks for those glimpses of the decadent desserts, that's about as close as I should get to anything that rich looking.

Really LOVE what you did with that tin canister, great gift and altered item! You've got me going on those desserts! I LOVE anything chocolate, in fact, the more chocolate the better.....and then again, I can easily enjoy the simplest pleasure like just a plain vanilla icecream and nothing else...so I vary so much! Hehe!

I wish I would have visited that dessert place in San Diego. The goodies look like works of art; amazing!
I never used to use lip balm; my hubby is addicted to Chapstick. Many times his tubes have gone through the laundry; grrrrr!
Last year I started using Chapstick and now I'm addicted. My lips need it. I love Cherry Chapstick.
