i took the boys out to the park for a little picnic and to play some ball. here is bryan kickin' around a soccer ball.
brandon & bryan throwing around a baseball. i love this park here. the many times we've been here, there has been no one around---for miles! i love having the whole park to ourselves! we did have to cut our day early though cause the sprinklers started coming on one end of the park and was getting close to where we parked ourselves!
trying to get 2 boys to pose for a nice picture is a bit difficult.

this card here was made by gathering ribbon and forming it into a flower.playing around with stamp markers and spritzing the stamp with water before stamping. not so sure i like it or maybe i'm not using the right stamp for this technique.
pictures from our picnic at the park from the week before. i try to take them at least once a week. pack a simple lunch, bring books to read and things to play with. [see the sunscreen, donna? :)]

we kick off our shoes and relax . and yes, those are my pink converses :)
went out to the grove one night and bryan needed a double. JUST KIDDING! it was hot chocolate in there.

Your cards are always so colorful and cheery! Love those ribbon flowers, and I like the watercolored look of the flowers on the second card. Very cool...

Love your ribbon flowers!!! Such a fun card! And I like stamping with maerks and water, I find that you have to amke sure to really color the stamp sometimes I do it all and go back and color it again before stamping it. But I prefer stamping with water and perfect pearls in it, works really well! I also love going to the park with my kiddies, looks like you had so much fun!

Oh and I love your cards, the ribbon flowers and cutout leaves are too sweet. Don't give up on the watercolor technique, just needs some fine-tuning maybe.
